Since 1921 the Manasquan Beach Improvement Association has been committed to protect and improve the beach environment and to promote Manasquan as a family beach town.
In addition to working closely with the Borough Council and Beach Administrator, the MBIA participates in Big Sea Day, the Annual Inlet Celebration as well as the Christmas Tree Lighting & Annual Candy Cane Hunt. In May, the MBIA holds a Volunteer Day and in October hosts a Breakfast with the Candidates for the Borough Council.
Manasquan is the southernmost coastal municipality in Monmouth County NJ. Manasquan’s beautiful one mile long sandy beaches are bordered on the north by the New Jersey National Guard Camp and on the south by the Manasquan Inlet which is the northern terminus of the Intercoastal Waterway. The beach is a favorite spot of bathers, surfers and fishermen.
